Research Interests
I am interested in any form of networked computer mediated communication where the communication can be between people or computers. My current focus is on the development of support for third party computation and adaptive applications in the pervasive computing environment.
Collaborations with CHAI are in pervasive computing, with
the UTIFORO project which explores
trust in pervasive computing, where an inter-disciplinary team across the areas of social science, distributed software systems and the mathematical foundations of computation is working
to discover deeper insights into how trust functions for people, and how it should be modelled in the computing systems around them.
About
My research interests are in computer communications and I lead the Networking Research part of the Software Systems group.
