Research Interests

Programming for high school students, supporting women in Computer Science, teaching programming and fundamental computing skills for scientists, engineers and potential computer scientist, technologies for supporting teaching of programming.

About

My main area of research is large scale radio surveys - both the scientific and data management and processing aspects. I am PI of VAST "An ASKAP Survey for Variables and Slow Transients" one of 10 projects selected to run on the next generation radio telescope ASKAP. I am also working on Natural Language Processing for scientific text.
