Embodiments of the invention provide a system and method for 
		transferring files in a pervasive computing system. The method comprises the 
		steps of selecting at least a sub0set of files to be made available to a 
		remote computing system and determining a relevance scores for each of the 
		sub-set of files to a remote computing system. information regarding the 
		relevance of each of the files in the subset is made available with the 
		file.
