Professor Weinberger has worked at the University of Munich and the Knowledge Media Research Center in Tübingen, Germany, as well as at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. He joined Saarland University in 2010 to start the Department of Educational Technology and create an international EduTech Master Program. His collaboration with CHAI aims to develop and analyse collaboration scripts to facilitate co-located or distant learners in technology-enhanced environments.
